Upstairs classroom with education memorabilia

From the earliest settlers in the area, Frostburg people have educated their children. Information at the Museum includes notes on parent-supported one-room schools, agitation for an Academy in the town, the struggle to obtain a Normal School (which has now grown to University designation) for Frostburg, and data on the people who have been educated here.

Original Hill Street School desks in the MuseumOne room is devoted to Schools, with files on the classes from both Beall High and the College, composites photographs of graduating classes, and reunion memorabilia.
